How to Clean Brass and Copper vessels /How to clean pooja vessels:

It is very easy to clean brass vessels in our home itself and the process is easy. Every Hindu family will have a pooja room, It is most important  to keep the worship place and pooja vessels clean. In this page we are going to see how to clean our pooja vessels easily. For pooja vessels cleaning  we need some cleaning powders which we can get it from any supermarkert. I usually buy Pitambari powder for cleaning brass and copper vessels , other than that i use sabeena powder , vim gel and any dish wash bar.

Method of  Cleaning:

  • Soak tamarind for 1 hr.
  • Take a pan and add the soaked tamarind and add required water(dont use salt water) to it .
  • Now let it to boil , while boiling add the the pooja vessels and add 1 tsp of pitambari powder to it .

  • Switch of the stove and let it aside for atleast 30 min.
  • Now take sabeena powder, pitambari powder and vim gel in a bowl.
  • Take a scrubber  and dip the powder and gel .
  • Scrub the vessels gently and wash it with the running water and immerse it in a pan of drinking water for 5 min.

  • Now drain the water and wipe it with a cloth.

  • I use to decorate the pooja vessels using kumkum.

  • Make a paste of kumkum with water and keep dots as per your wish .
  • Now your sparkling pooja vessels is ready.
