Bread Pakora/Bread Pakoda:
Bread Pakoda is a nice snack and also can be made as a morning breakfast. It will sure fill your tummy. Try this delicious bread pakora in your kitchen and let me know how it comes for you. You can make this simple recipe as a snack for guests too. Now let us see how to make this recipe.Ingredients:
- Bread - 4 slices
- Besan flour(kadalai maavu)- 1/2 cup
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida - 1 pinch
- Onion - 1
- Green chillies 2 nos
- Curry leaves-few
- Coriander leaves - few
- Egg - 1
- oil - as needed
- salt - as needed
Method:
- Chop the onion, green chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
- Take a mixing bowl and add the chopped chillies onion curry leaves and coriander leaves.
- Add egg , salt and beat well, keep it aside
- Take another bowl and add besan flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder ,cumin powder, asafoetida and add required salt and mix well. Add some water to make it to a batter consistency.
- Heat a tawa and sprinkle some oil in it.
- Dip the bread slice in the besan batter and place in the hot tawa now coat the bread with the egg mixing on both the sides and cook well. Serve this with the mint chutney!!
